Position Title: Ministry Systems Director

Position Details: About the Role Higher Purpose Church (HPC) is looking for a mission-driven leader reporting to our Lead Pastor. This full-time ministry staff position focuses on building systems, leading teams, and leveraging automation to help us grow in the coming years. You'll help turn guests into engaged disciples by leading Small Groups, Online Ministry, and Kids Ministry systems while streamlining processes through AI and no-code tools. Duties • Build and coach teams; develop a multiplying leadership pipeline • Own Sunday morning operations across all teams (worship, AV, kids, etc.) • Oversee guest follow-up and assimilation into groups and serve teams • Build and document systems using Planning Center and other tools • Implement automation tools (Zapier, Notion AI, ChatGPT, etc.) to streamline follow-up, scheduling, and reporting Skills • Shepherding – Pastoral care, spiritual guidance, empathy • Conflict Resolution – Handles tension biblically and constructively • Leadership Pipeline Design – Building leaders who develop other leaders • Project Management – Planning, executing, and following through on cross-team ministry initiatives • AI Workflow Building – Using tools like ChatGPT, Zapier, Notion AI, or Airtable automations to reduce manual work • Dashboard Creation – Building and maintaining simple dashboards to measure ministry health • Scheduling & Calendar Systems – Coordinating people and events efficiently Compensation & Benefits • Salary: $45,000/year • Average of 30 hours/week • Mileage and ministry expenses reimbursed How to Apply Please send the following to jobs@higherpurposechurch.org: • Resume • Brief testimony of your faith and ministry calling • One-page description of a system you built that multiplied volunteers or improved a ministry • Targeted ministry references per request
